THE MONARCHS
A group of individuals who have no faith of the infected ever being contained by the government. A hardcore rebel group they've decided to take things into their own hands, and have very radical ideals. Mostly glorified in some circles of survivors there's a lot of nasty rumors about these guys, and they aren't afraid to be violent. They can at times be hypocritical but they are actively trying to find a cure for the infected, and absolutely take care of their own.
THE VOX
The main psuedo-governemt group - created by lost teens who were over excited about the zombies. Their main goal is to find a home base and protect it, and are split into divisions based on location. Main divisions are East, West, North, and South. Often split into several groups such as Search&Rescue, Medical, Disposal, etc. They may seem like a rag tag group of people but they are efficient and willing to take in lone survivors as well as groups, as long as you are willing to help out. They hold a level of hostility towards the Monarchs, thinking them idiotic and reckless.
SURVIVORS
Not allied with a specific group, simply normal folks trying to survive. These will be the most common of the groups and the most difficult to survive in, as most don't have anyone to watch their backs.
HUNTERS
Cannibals. Traveling in small packs that are easy to feed, they enter cities and prey on the weak and fragile. Can often seem overly friendly and willing to take in survivors, and absolutely not to be trusted. Most are easily offended by being called monsters and are equally feared and hated between all groups. KOS. No exceptions.
